Nothing but mad love for this song/video!
Eminem is back and stronger than ever. The controversial rapper who struggled for years with an addiction to painkillers and anti-depressants is now clean and spitting rhymes fused with an edge of deep rooted empowerment […]

P.S: Hes got another track thats hitting the web (and his whole album leaked if you know where to look)
Its called Won’t Back Down (ft. Pink):

Black Keys are playing tonight at the Fillmore that they sold out which is not surprising since they sold out Fox on the tour last summer and their new album, Brothers, debuted at 3rd rank on billboard charts (getting beat by rolling stones and effing Glee soundtrack, wtf?)
The show tonight is promising to be an awesome one. They’re also selling this awesome poster:

I took a stroll down the memory lanes and live performances to delight in Black Keys’ evolution as a band. This is from current going all the way to the beginning
Tighten Up from Brothers (6th album) on Letterman
I Got Mine from Attack And Release (5th album) on Letterman (video comes in a bit late)
Your Touch from Magic Potion (4th album) music video Couldn’t find a good live video from year of release.
Thickfreakness from Thickfreakness (2nd album) on Conan - Love Dan’s goatee and Patrick’s baby drums

Ok, these guys are amazing. Part blues, park garage rock, part british swagger. If that wasn’t awesome enough, they’re coming to Larimer Lounge in Denver on Friday, May 28th. [Shit Stepan, you dont have to say anything else, where do i get my tickets? ($15+cc charge)]
I found about these guys through pretty awesome KEXP Midday Show podcast, they played a 20 minute set that made me go and get their album and search youtube for their performances. I stumbled upon the following video played on Letterman that absolutely sold me on these guys. For the first time in known Letterman history, he asked them to keep playing, crazy.
Watch the video, fall in love, come see them with me on May 28th.
Saw these guys over the weekend, what a talented group from Brooklyn. Fan for life. Give their new release, Odd Blood a listen.
Love the teal tint, its quite interesting that its a trend in Hollywood, but it certainly makes for a pretty picture.
This is an amazing blog from France that goes out and records best indie bands in the world in the back of local cafes, out in parks and other beautiful places around the world. What you get is an amazing blend of great music and local culture. Must see.

My Body Sings Electric - “Step into the Light” (demo)
Last night we put together another demo while doing pre-production. Doing pre-production on the songs is probably the best thing we could have done so far. It lets you know how your parts need to be fixed so that they can work best on the recording.
We are working out of Nick’s living room and recording everything in Logic Pro. The guitar tones are all done with the built in Amp Designer software that comes with Logic. Personally I think they sound pretty good.
If you want to do your own project I must offer one piece of advice: Invest in some monitors. They don’t have to be great, but it makes everything go much smoother. Anthony Catalano is being kind enough to let us use his set-up.
I opted to record vocals to this track, and they are admittedly a little rough, but this IS only pre-production. This particular track has me REALLY excited to get into an actual studio. I can’t wait to hear it with better production.
I was of course snapping more pictures. Enjoy!

This band is so underrated and unknown it hurts. It gets good at 3:30 and 6:30. Sabrosa Purr [at the Echo] - “…by the Water” (via spacelandrecordings)
